Journey home

After a hearty breakfast and a bit of a wait in front of the elevator, we were able to get the last of our suitcases down to the lobby and directly onto the bus. The weather is again on our side today. After a much shorter car ride than planned, yes it is also sometimes faster in Greece, we are again in front of the airport in Athens. We slowly got the hang of checking in and handing in our suitcases. Thanks to extra suitcases and exact repacking, reallocating, weighing and repacking again, we don’t have a gram too much with us. Afterwards the last shopping and catering possibilities are waiting. After a somewhat delayed departure in Athens we land in Zurich and then off home. It was an intense and interesting week with a great group in Skyros, but everyone is looking forward to home and our loved ones again.
