Start Skyros 2019

Today is the start of our outreach week. At 06:00 we meet in Weinfelden at the train station and take the train to the airport. Arrived at the airport we checked in our luggage and went through security. Afterwards we had some time to have breakfast or to stock up in the duty free.

At 09:15 we fly off to Athens. In Athens we get our luggage and Anastasia, who comes from Bucharest, joins us. We take a bus to Kymi, where we take the ferry to Skyros. On the way we have of course breaks and a first good meal. The driver of the bus came especially from Skyros to pick us up and to tell us that we were not forgotten on the island that year. He thanked us for last year by picking us up and now hopes for another great week.

When we arrive on Skyros we meet Silvia, Karin, Eleni and so on. It was a warm reunion and everyone is looking forward to the week. Afterwards we took a bus to Karin’s place to get our sleeping places. Afterwards we went to dinner together with the new mayor and the OC. We ended the evening comfortably and full of anticipation. We are really looking forward to the week and the coming experiences.
